Loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother passed away peacefully on Friday evening, October 7, 2022 at Barton Woods Assisted Living in Freeland. She was 97 years old. Dolores Mae Wruck was born on September 18, 1925 in Saginaw, Michigan to the late Alfred and Helen (Koenig) Wruck. She married Paul Hauck on June 28, 1947, he preceded her in death on March 12, 1975. Dolores then married Robert L. Roeser D.D.S. on March 3, 1979, he preceded her in death on June 9, 2015. She was a charter member of St. Helen Church and continued to be a faithful member of Christ the Good Shepherd Parish – St. Helen in Saginaw. Dolores served on the St. Helen Catholic Church Alter Society and volunteered for the St. Helen prayer line. She was a lifetime member of the League of Catholic Women and the St. Mary’s Women’s Auxiliary, where she volunteered for many years. Dolores was also a member of the Freeland Historical Society.

Dolores loved spending time at their cottage in Gaylord. She also enjoyed gardening and playing bridge with her longtime friends. Dolores was a wonderful baker and cook and shared her love through cooking for others. But, what Dolores really loved most was spending time with her family.

Surviving are her children, Larry (Jan) Hauck, Nancy (Chet) Kozak, Helene (Michael) Pavlov, Judy Jones, Alan (Lois) Hauck, Karen (Eric) Schiesswohl; grandchildren, Stacy Hauck-Moore, Andrew Hauck, Abbie (James) Bailey, Zachary Pavlov, Sarah (Seth) Rousseau, Robert (Candace) Jones, Christopher (Hannah) Jones, Teddi (Sam) Creekmore, Janet Hauck, Paul Hauck and Jason (Brooke) Schiesswohl ; ten great grandchildren.

Dolores was preceded in death by her sister, Shirley Adams.

The family would like to thank the staff of Dobson Home Healthcare, Barton Woods Assisted Living and Cardinal Hospice for the wonderful care they provided to Dolores in her time of need.

FUNERAL SERVICE: A Funeral Liturgy will take place at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 12, 2022 at Christ the Good Shepherd – St. Helen Church, 2445 N. Charles Street. Rev. Fr. William J. Rutkowski will officiate. Committal service will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Saginaw.

VISITATION: Family and friends will gather at Christ the Good Shepherd – St. Helen Site, 2445 N. Charles Street on Wednesday, October 12, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m.

MEMORIALS: In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to Christ the Good Shepherd – St. Helens.
