Evelyn and I served together for many years on the board of the Japanese Cultural Center, Tea House and Gardens of Saginaw. I always like sitting next to her at meetings and parties. I enjoyed and respected her intellect, passion for her community and country, beautiful use of English, and especially her feistiness. I will miss her very much, but know that old friends are always reunited in the Hereafter. God Bless Evelyn, my dear friend Tom and their family.
