Leddy, Alice Ann

Saginaw, Michigan

Our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend was called home to heaven by her Savior Thursday evening, February 24, 2022 with her family by her side. She was 81 years old.

Alice Ann Neuenfeldt was born on November 24, 1940 in Hemlock, MI. She was the daughter of the late Wilbert “Babe” and Mary (Darby) Neuenfeldt. Alice married Edward Allen Leddy on August 8, 1959. Together, they enjoyed 60 years of marriage, until Edward’s passing on March 7, 2020. Alice was a graduate of Hemlock High School, Class of 1958. She was a faithful member of Gethsemane Lutheran Church in Saginaw. She remained strong in her faith until her passing.

Alice enjoyed spending time with her family. She looked forward to talking with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren through regular phone visits and when they would stop by to see her. She was always very interested in their lives. And she constantly prayed for all of them. She was a selfless person who never complained about anything in her life. She appreciated all of her blessings and thanked God for her family. She dealt with the difficulties she faced with faith and courage, never questioning God’s plan for her.

Surviving are four children and their spouses; Susan and Randy Rossow, Edward (Mary) Leddy, Jr., Sylvia Hendricks and Richard and Tricia Leddy, fifteen grandchildren and their spouses; twenty-one great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a brother-in-law and his wife, Mike and Sugar Leddy; three sisters in-law, Maxine, June and Janet Leddy and many nieces and nephews.

Alice was preceded in death by her parents, Wilbert “Babe” and Mary Neuenfeldt; her husband, Edward Leddy Sr.; her sisters and brothers-in-law, Ruth and Elvin Rohn, Clara and Henry Miller and an infant brother, Richard Neuenfeldt. God saw you getting tired

And a cure was not to be

So he wrapped His arms around you

and whispered “Come with me”

Mom – We love you and look forward

to seeing you again in a blessed reunion.
