Rondo, Catherine P. “Cathy”

Passed away peacefully on Friday, December 24, 2021 at Covenant HealthCare – Harrison. She was 80 years old. Catherine Pauline Grnya was born on May 5, 1941 in Saginaw to the late Samuel and Wanda (Sparshu) Grnya. Cathy’s two greatest pleasures were her many dogs over the years and walking the beaches at Sleeping Bear Dunes. She is walking the beaches in heaven now, with her loving dogs beside her and just waiting for her husband, Larry to join her.

Cathy is survived by her husband, Larry Rondo of forty nine years and her loving dog, Newdog “Buddy”. Also left to cherish her memory are her sisters: Ruth Langston of Ann Arbor, Barbara (Tom) Adams of Adrian and Marge (Glen) Rutilla of Ann Arbor; many nieces and nephews.

In keeping with Cathy’s wishes, cremation has taken place.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State), Saginaw, MI 48603.
