Beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and brother passed away peacefully on Friday, June 25, 2021 at the Toni and Trish House in Auburn. He was 69 years old. Lee Robert Benzenberg was born February 29, 1952 in Saginaw, Michigan to the late Robert and Shirley (Doran) Benzenberg. He married his loving wife, Sharon Pack on March 17, 1990 at First Presbyterian Church in Saginaw. She joined him in heaven on Saturday, June 26, 2021. Lee attended Arthur Hill High School, graduating in 1970. He was employed by General Motors, retiring after 30 years of service. Lee was a faithful member of First Presbyterian Church of Saginaw for many years.
He was an avid Michigan State fan and loved all kinds of sports. He enjoyed watching his two sons; Ryan and Tim, coach their basketball teams. Lee also enjoyed having meals with those he adored. But, what he really loved most was spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Surviving are his children, Ryan (Melissa) Benzenberg, Tim (Becky) Benzenberg, Karen (James) Bedell, Rick Pack, and Mary (Brad) Navarro; grandchildren, Caleb, Caden, Owen, Reed, Zachary, Trey, Madison, Kylie, Tony, and Peyton; great-grandchild, Kinsley; siblings, Brad (Deb) Benzenberg and Linda (Ben) Gombar; extended family and friends.
Lee was preceded in death by his stepson, Christopher Pack and his loving niece, Jillian Benzenberg.
FUNERAL SERVICE: A Funeral Service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 30, 2021 at the First Presbyterian Church of Saginaw, 121 S. Harrison Street. Rev. Dr. Robert L. Emrich will officiate. Committal service to follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
VISITATION: Family and friends will gather at the Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State) on Tuesday, June 29, 2021 from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and at the church on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
MEMORIALS: In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to the Toni and Trish House.
