Obituary of Henry Ledesma Jr.
Henry Ledesma Jr. passed away unexpectedly at his home on Monday, June 14, 2021, age 65. The son of the late Henry Sr. and Mary Jane (Chingman) Ledesma, he was born on August 27th, 1955 in Saginaw, Michigan.
Henry was Saginaw proud and a hard working UAW member of Delphi Chassis for 30 years upon retiring. He was a member of St. Joseph Church, UAW, and the American GI Forum. He enjoyed listening and dancing to his favorite R&B tunes, fishing, golfing, bowling, playing lotto daily, buying scratch-offs and playing cards with his family (he taught his daughters and grandchild to be master card sharks). However, none of these activities trumped spending time with family which is what he enjoyed most!! Henry was a big-giver and a sharp dresser, never to go unnoticed in his pressed clothes, Stacy Adams or Converse and a brim to top it off. Always a dapper man!
He is survived by his first love, his former wife and mother of all six of his children, Frances (Hernandez) Ledesma. Always left behind to cherish his memory are his daughters that he had strong, unbreakable bonds with: Rachel, Tina Marie, Angela, and Erica Brethauer; grandchildren: Santino, Mia, Adriana, Valentino, and Stella; one great-granddaughter, Sierra; his brothers and sister: Mary Jane Cuevas, Jesse Ledesma, and Jeremy along with many nieces and nephews.
Henry was preceded in death by his parents and his two twin sons: Henry III and Rosario Ledesma.
