Obituary of James Norbert Ruediger
Ruediger, James “Jim” N. age 73 passed away Monday, May 17, 2021 with his family by his side. James was born March 8, 1948 in Saginaw, Michigan the son of Oswald and Martha (Godfrey) Ruediger. James served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He was united in marriage to the former Debra Campbell on August 1, 1970; she survives him.
Jim retired from General Motors after almost 30 years. He enjoyed staying busy. Jim loved NASCAR. He was always helping others; whether it was cutting your grass or just giving you a helping hand. Jim enjoyed cutting the lawn for the Saginaw Township Little League. He will be dearly missed.
Jim is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Debbie, three sons, Jim (Debbie) Ruediger, Brian and Steve Ruediger, four grandchildren; Briana, Steven Jr., Devin and James, brother; Audley (Judith) Ruediger, sister; Janet Ruediger, brother in-law; David Kalkman, several nieces and nephews and many dear friends.
Besides his parents, Jim was preceded in death by a brother, Mike and sister, Valerie Kalkman.
FUNERAL: 6:00 p.m. Monday, May 24, 2021 from Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State) with Pastor Ted McCulloch to officiate. Military honors will follow the service at the funeral home under the auspices of the United States Army and American Legion Post #22.
VISITATION: Family and friends are welcome to visit Deisler Funeral Home, Monday, May 24, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
