Bugenske, Thomas D. Sr. St. Charles, Michigan Passed away on Wednesday, April 7, 2021 at his home. He was 80 years old. Thomas D. Bugenske was born on August 21, 1940 in Saginaw to the late Joseph E. and Genevieve (Zlotorzynski) Bugenske. He married the love of his life, Sandra “Sandy” Burages on January 14, 1961. They celebrated 57 wonderful years together until her passing on April 12, 2018. Tom was a Machine Repairman working for General Motors, retiring from Saginaw Steering Gear for over 35 years. He was a member of Local #699. Tom loved a good road trip to the Casino, camping with his family and he enjoyed driving his 1966 Mustang convertible. He loved to dance with his wife, Sandy, he loved to hate the Lions, rooting for MSU basketball and football, the Tigers and Redwings. Tom also enjoyed spending time with his favorite bird, Chloe. Tom is survived by his children: Todd (Lynnette) Bugenske, Mary Bugenske, Tom Jr. (Cammie) Bugenske; seven grandchildren: Justin (Danielle) Bugenske, Briann (P.J.) Foster, Bryan (Daniele) Yuchasz, Sarah Yuchasz, Thomas D. (Ashley Headings) Bugenske III, Brandon (Shari) Mulvaney and Brett (Sarah) Mulvaney; great grandchildren: Nolan and Aiden Bugenske, Cameron Foster and Ainsley Lois Foster is expected in August, Caroline Yuchasz, Kennidi Ducham, Ethan Yuchasz, Ashlyn Yuchasz, Brady, Grayson, Myles and Lyane Mulvaney, Charlee and Liam Mulvaney; siblings: Butch Bugenske, Polly (Tom) Papst and Timothy (Lynnette) Bugenske; sister-in-law, Marilyn Bugenske; many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family. Tom was preceded in death by his loving wife, Sandy; parents; siblings: John (Nancy) Bugenske, Robin Bugenske; sister-in-law, Mary Bugenske. FUNERAL: A family funeral service for Tom will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 12, 2021 at the Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State). Rev. Ted McCulloch will officiate. Burial will take place at Holy Family Catholic Cemetery, Unionville. In keeping with mandated ordinances and for the safety of the community, face masks are required, social distancing, and gathering guidelines will be observed.
