Obituary of Debra Wellman

WELLMAN, Debra "Deb" (Israel) of Bay City, Michigan went home to be with the Lord on Monday, March 4, 2013 after a warrior's fight for a new heart. She was the tender age of 61. Deb was born to the late Rev. Herman and Betty Israel Jr. on February 11, 1952. With a pioneer spirit Deb enjoyed her life. She loved the Lord and her family with unconditional love. Anyone that went to her home knew of her love for angels. Deb married her late husband Harold "Trig" Wellman on January 10, 1969.
Deb is survived by their children: Scott (Lisa) Wellman of Flint, Wanda (Dan) Webster of Middleton, Jackie Wellman of Flint, Bobbi Jo Wellman (Gary) of Defiance, Ohio, and ShirleyAnn (John) Bowen of Saginaw; many grandchildren: Michael (Randi) Wellman, Theresa, Krystyna and Marissa Villarreal, Christopher Kennedy, Amanda (Eldon) Howe-Anderson, Heather Bush, Danielle Morgan, Lee Witsoe, Stone Utter, Ronald (Kristen) Wellman, Scott Wellman, Trig Wellman, Alisha Denman, Keith Allen, Lace (Kyle) Gorbutt; and several great grandchildren.
Besides their children, she is survived by her loving fiancé who stood beside her through this fight for the past six years, Terry Lewis, and his family including his daughter, Katie Lewis; parents, Harry and Nancy Lewis; and siblings, David (Jackie) Lewis, and Debra (Howard) Gilbert, all of Bay City.
Deb is also survived by Dee Dee Danks, Mark (Rosalie) Israel, Frankie Morrison, Joanne and Loretta Israel, all of Saginaw, and Roy Fritz of Caro. Deb was predeceased by her siblings: Veronica (Penny) Fritz, Hurley, Rev. Doyle and David Israel; and her brother-in-law, Joseph Danks.
FUNERAL: A funeral service for Debra will be help at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 12, 2013 at Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd (off State). Bishop R.C. Popard of Anchor of Hope Church of God will officiate with interment to follow at Eastlawn Memorial Gardens.
VISTATION: Friends are welcome to visit with the family at Deisler Funeral home on Tuesday, March 12, 2013 from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
