Obituary of Muriel Jane Carrell

Carrell, Muriel Jane of Saginaw, formerly of Newport Richey, FL, passed away on Friday, February 22, 2013 peacefully at her home. She was 92 years old. Muriel Jane Fry was born May 4, 1920 in Saginaw to Charles and Theresa (Hanley) Fry. Muriel married William A. Carrell, Jr.; he predeceased her. She graduated from Saginaw High School in 1931. Muriel worked for R.L. Polk in Detroit for many years as an accountant and office manager before her retirement.
Muriel enjoyed reading and music, but most of all, traveling the world with her husband.
Surviving her is her sister, Barbara (Ben) Crocker and her niece Janice Lowell. She was preceded in death by her parents and four brothers and sisters.
FUNERAL: Funeral services will take place on Monday February 25, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd., Saginaw 48603. Rev. Lynda Frazier will officiate with entombment to follow at Oakwood Mausoleum.
VISITATION: Friends are welcome to visit at Deisler Funeral Home on Sunday, February 24, 2013 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
MEMORIALS: In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to their Charity of Choice.
