SIKA, Bernard of Saginaw Michigan passed away on Sunday, January 30, 2011 at his home. Age 79 years. Bernard Sika was born on July 15, 1931 to the late Sebastian and Frances (Terwadow) Sika. Bernie loved baseball and was an avid Detroit Tiger fan. He loved living in the City of Zilwaukee where he grew up. He also loved reading The Saginaw News.
Bernie was preceded in death by a brother, John E. Sika and a sister, Katherine Faulk.
FUNERAL- Bernard's Funeral Service will take place at 12:00 noon, Tuesday, February 1, 2011 at the Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd (Off State). Pastor Paul Hinz will officiate with the burial in St. Andrew Catholic Cemetery.
VISITATION- Friends may visit with Bernie's family at the Deisler Funeral Home on Tuesday, February 1, 2011 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
