Obituary of Julia F. Stelter

STELTER, Julia F. of Saginaw Township, Michigan was taken by the hand of her Lord and Savior on Thursday, February 3, 2011 with her family at her side. She was 98 years old. Julia F. Bless was born September 29, 1912 to Mathias and Frances (Schreiber) Bless. She was married to Bernard A. Stelter Jr. on August 6, 1932 in Saginaw. He preceded her in death on August 27, 1984. Julia was a life long member of SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church. She loved to golf and bowl, but above all Julia treasured and cherished her family. Surviving are three sons and two daughters: Ron (Mary) Stelter, Shirley A. Stelter Leibinger and her late husband Jim, Bernie (Joni) Stelter, Bill (Maureen) Stelter, Debbie (Jeff) Stelter Davis; 33 grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; and one sister, Rose Meyer Julia was preceded in death by a great granddaughter, Dylan Zook; one sister and three brothers: Barbara, Henry, Joseph and Frank. FUNERAL - Funeral Liturgy will take place at 11:00 a.m. Monday, February 7, 2011 at SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, 4735 W. Michigan Ave. Rev. Robert Gohm will officiate with burial in St. Andrew Cemetery. VISITATION - Friends may call at SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church on Monday, February 7, 2011 from 9:30 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. Mass.
