Obituary of Frederick Joseph Cady

CADY III, Frederick Joseph "Joe" of Saginaw passed away on Sunday, February 20, 2011 at his home. He was 63 years old. Frederick Joseph Cady III was born on August 3, 1947 to Dr. Frederick J. Jr. and Beverly (Dew) Cady. Joe was a graduate of SS. Peter and Paul High School in 1965. He then graduated from the University of Arizona and the Detroit College of Law receiving his Juris Doctorate Degree. Joe then practiced law in Saginaw for many years as a partner at Fordney and Cady and then co-founded Cady, Mastromarco & Jahn. He was a member of the Saginaw County, Michigan and American Bar Associations. Joe loved to golf, fish, hunt and was an avid skier. Surviving beside his parents are a daughter, Danielle (Jeff) Pankuch; three brothers: John (Libby) Cady of Aurora, IL, Bruce (Debbie) Cady of Lapeer, and William "Bill" Cady of Traverse City; two sisters: Nancy (Mike) Stachiw of Fenton, MO and Jacqueline Campbell of Scottsdale, AZ; two aunts: Geraldine O'Laughlin and Jacqueline Polk; two uncles: Dr. Donald (Jan) Cady and Dean (Lois) Cady; many nieces, nephews and cousins. Joe was preceded in death by an uncle, Dr. David Cady. FUNERAL: A Funeral Liturgy for Joe will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 25, 2011 at St. Stephen Catholic Church, 1320 Malzahn St., Rev. Fr. William R. Taylor will officiate. The family will gather privately for entombment at St. Andrew Cemetery. VISIATION: Friends may call at the Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State) on Thursday, February 24, 2011 from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. Joe will lie in state at the church on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass.
