Obituary of Maxine Ann Shivley

SHIVLEY, Maxine Ann of Saginaw, Michigan, formerly of Freeland, Michigan passed away on Friday, February 25, 2011 at Covenant HealthCare. Age 80 years. Maxine Ann Miller was born to the late Harry and Mabel (Scherping) Miller on May 31, 1930 in Saginaw, Michigan. She married the love of her life Robert L. Shivley on April 21, 1951 in Saginaw, Michigan. He predeceased her on December 29, 1984. Maxine loved the outdoors and she enjoyed watching her grandchildren grow up. Maxine is survived by two sons, Ronald M. (Danna) Shivley of Ringgold, GA, and James (Tammy) Shivley, Negaunee, MI; five grandchildren, Leah, James II, and Elizabeth Shivley and Matt and Melissa Cline and one brother, Clayton Miller of Midland, MI. Maxine was preceded in death by a brother, Walt Miller. FUNERAL- Maxine's Funeral Service will be take place at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 1, 2011 at Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State). Rev. Kenneth Parker will officiate with the burial in Eastlawn Memorial Gardens. VISITATION- Friends may call at the Deisler Funeral Home on Monday, February 28, 2011 from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and on Tuesday from 12:00 p.m. until the time of Service.
