Bill, as COO of Saginaw General Hospital, was one of my first bosses in hospital administration, and over 32 years he remains one of the very best leaders I've had the privilege of serving with. His wisdom and kindness have been strong examples to me of how one can lead through challenge and brokenness with graceful effectiveness. He has been a role model throughout my career. In the most difficult professional times, Bill was one of those strong mentors who I imagined standing right behind me in support. I clearly recall the loving way he cherished and spoke of his wife, Cheryl, and his young daughters, Haley and Amber. It's a wonderful blessing to have worked for, learned from and served with Bill.

I am very saddened today to have learned of the loss of my childhood friend,
Bill. We grew up together in the 1950's, in Grayling. My heart goes out to
his family. I know how very close they were. The world has lost a very
nice man.

I am so sorry to the family for the loss of their loved one, Mr. Heath. I am an employee here at Covenant Health Care. I started working at Saginaw General and eventhough I worked night shift we still knew Bill as he would round early in the morning so that he could get to know us also. He would remember you by your first name and details of conversation. He was a wonderful man and will be greatly missed. My condolenses.

I consider Bill one of my most valuable mentors. I started at Saginaw General as a nursing assistant, and he always had a kind smile and greeted me by name. As I advanced in my career, he gave me the best advice to obtain external experience, even though it broke my heart to leave Saginaw General. I am now a CEO of a hospital, and try to emulate Bill's goodness in my daily work. After he retired, I often hoped I would run into him to let him know what an impact he had. He will be missed and I hope your memories are of comfort to you at this difficult time. Please take care.

Mr. Heath, You will be truly missed and never forgotten. You showed Saginaw General Hospital, as well as Covenant employees a lot of love with your kind spirit. You not only came to check on us on the weekends, you knew us by individual names. You treated everyone the same. You were a great CEO and COO. Your job was well done. I never got to say how much I appreciated your kindness. Thank you Mr.Heath and may you rest peacefully in the comfort of our Savior Jesus Christ arm's.

I worked with Bill Heath at Saginaw General Hospital. It was a joy to work with him. He always had a smile and knew everyone by name. Sometimes he would show up at the hospital at 5 a.m. with his cup of coffee and just walk from unit to unit talking with employees and patients. He will be truly missed. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.

Bill was the most loved person at Saginaw General. He always had a smile, and a kind word for everyone he met and amazingly enough, he knew all of the employee by first name. He would round on the weekend when I worked in the CCU Unit and he would bring the donuts and we always had his coffee ready. He was the most generous and caring CEO a company could ask for. It saddens my heart to learn of his passing. My thoughts and prayers are with his family. May GOD hold them tight in his loving embrace at this most difficult time.
