Obituary of Kay Anne Specht

SPECHT, Kay Anne of Longboat Key, Florida, formerly of Saginaw, Michigan. Passed on Tuesday, December 11, 2012 at her home after a lengthy illness. She was 74 years of age. Kay Anne Spousta was born on November 2, 1938 in Saginaw, Michigan to the late Frank J. and Anne Zednick Spousta. She was married to Kenneth Specht on October 18, 1958 in Saginaw. He survives her. Kay graduated from Arthur Hill High School in the Class of 1956. She later attended Hurly Hospital in Flint where she received her nursing degree. Through the years she was employed as an Industrial Nurse. Kay is a former member of Zion Lutheran Church in Saginaw. She enjoyed cooking and baking. Surviving are her husband; Ken of Longboat Key, FL, a brother; Allen (Pat) Spousta of Fredericksburg, TX, four children and seven grandchildren; son; Kenny (Kelly) Specht and their children Kara and Kyle of Atlanta, GA, son; Kurt Specht of Dallas, TX, daughter; Kerry (Wendell) Waldroup and their children; Kendall and Kayden, of Rockford, MI and daughter; Kelly (Manfred) Hoffman and their children; Jordyn, Connor and Cameron of Indianapolis, IN. FUNERAL- Kay's Funeral Service will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 15, 2012 at the Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State). Rev. Sue Hand will officiate. Entombment will follow in Oakwood Mausoleum. VISITATION- Friends are welcome to visit with Kay's family at the funeral home on Friday, December 14, 2012 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
