Obituary of Antonia C. Narvaiz

NARVAIZ, Antonio C., of Saginaw, Michigan. Our beloved brother and uncle passed away on Sunday, March 27, 2011 at St. Mary's of Michigan, with his family at his side. Age 69 years. Antonio C. Narvaiz was born on May 5, 1941 in Sabinal, Texas to the late Adolpho and Maria (Cardenas) Narvaiz. He graduated from Saginaw High School. He worked in the railroad industry. Antonio proudly served his country in the U.S. Army in Vietnam. He received the Silver Star as well as various other medals. He enjoyed taking drives, watching movies at home and he was a U.F.O enthusiast. Surviving are two brothers: Tom (Helen) Narvais, and Paul (Hope) Narvaiz; two sisters: Emma Narvaiz, and Leduvina Rosales. Also surviving are many loving nieces and nephews. Antonio was preceded in death by two brothers: Gilbert and Ted (Rosa) Narvaiz, a sister, Anita Narvaiz and a brother-in-law, Victor Rosales. FUNERAL- Antonio's Funeral Service will take place at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 30, 2011 at the Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State). Rev. Fr. Joseph A. Schabel will officiate. Military Honors conducted under the auspices of American G.I. Forum. In accordance with Antonio's wishes cremation will follow.
