Obituary of Charles Graham

GRAHAM, Charles J. "Chuck", of Saginaw, Michigan passed away, with his family at his side, on Thursday, March 31, 2011 at Covenant HealthCare - Cooper. He was 82 years old. Charles J. Graham was born on October 12, 1928 in Saginaw to the late Robert L. and Ernestine (Malott) Graham. He married Sandra Lee (Hesse) Hoyt. She predeceased him on December 17, 1993. He later married Sara J. (Sharpe) Frost. She preceded him in death on February 3, 2009. Chuck graduated from Arthur Hill Tech. He was employed with General Motors, as a machinist, for over 39 years. Chuck proudly served his country in the U.S. Army from April 14, 1947 to October 19, 1948. He attended Faith Ev. Lutheran Church. He was an avid bowler and played for two teams. He enjoyed spending time with his family, traveling and camping. Chuck was a gentle and caring soul. Surviving are his family Linda and John Gerskin and Jack and Rose Graham. Also surviving are many family members. FUNERAL - Chuck's Funeral Service will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, April 4, 2011 at the Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State). Pastor Michael Hahn will officiate. Entombment will follow in Oakwood Mausoleum. MILITARY - Military Honors conducted under the auspices of V.F.W. Post 1859. VISITATION - Friend are welcome to visit at the Deisler Funeral Home on Monday, April 4, 2011 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the Service.
