Obituary of Teresa V. Kartowsky

KARTOWSKY, Teresa Victorine of Saginaw, MI passed away on Tuesday, April 12, 2011 at Covenant HealthCare - Cooper with her family at her side. She was 85 years old. Teresa Victorine Herm was born on December 30, 1925 in Harbor Beach, MI to the late Raymond and Elsie (Carrigan) Herm. She married the late Joseph P. Sullivan on February 14, 1948. Teresa married Robert E. Kartowsky on December 29, 1979. He survives her. She was a graduate of Saginaw High School, Class of 1943. Teresa was an avid photographer and truly loved and cherished her family. Teresa is survived by her husband, Robert; five children: Michael J. Sullivan, Patrick R. (Sally) Sullivan, Thomas J. Sullivan all of Saginaw; Timothy J. Sullivan of Edgewater, FL., and Susan K. Bell of Albuquerque, NM; a step-son, Dennis Teplenski of AK; a step-daughter, Patricia A. (Jeffrey L.) Reynolds of Saginaw; eight grandchildren; five step grandchildren; many great grandchildren; three nephews; two nieces and a sister, Mary Ann Eickholt of St. Charles. FUNERAL: Teresa's funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 15, 2011 at Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State). Rev. Fr. Joseph A. Schabel will officiate. Entombment will follow at Oakwood Mausoleum. VISITATION: Friends are welcome to visit with Teresa's family on Thursday, April 14, 2011 at Deisler Funeral Home from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
