Obituary of Bruce A. Kuhlman

KUHLMAN, Bruce A. of Saginaw, Michigan, passed away on Thursday, April 28, 2011, at Select Specialty Hospital. He was 71 years old. Bruce A. Kuhlman was born on October 12, 1939 in Saginaw, Michigan. He married Sally Elaine Dwyer on March 7, 1959 in Saginaw, Michigan. She preceded him in death on June 10, 2010. Bruce was a Master Electrician and was an owner/partner of Reliable Electric. He enjoyed watching sports especially the Detroit Lions, playing darts, golfing and bowling. Bruce is survived by two sons and a daughter: Scott (Robin) Kuhlman, Melissa (James) Balzer, and Michael Kuhlman and his fiancée Megan Stoney; seven grandchildren: Paul Plambeck, Megan Kuhlman, Mackenzie Furlo, Addison and Austin Balzer, Autumn and Landon Kuhlman; a brother-in-law: Larry and Marlene Dwyer. Bruce was preceded in death by his father, Wilfred Kuhlman; mother and step-father, Rosella (Nass) and Donald C. Culver; a son, Jeffrey Kuhlman; a daughter, Shirley Plambeck; three brothers: Ron Kuhlman, Don and Fred Culver. FUNERAL: According to Bruce's wishes cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, May 2, 2011 at the Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State). Pastor Ken Cline will officiate. VISITATION: Friends are welcome to visit with the family at the funeral home on Monday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
