Obituary of Isabel J. Brandel

BRANDEL, Isabel J. of Reno, Nevada, formerly of Saginaw, Michigan, passed away on Tuesday, May 10, 2011, at Renown Regional Medical Center. She was 84 years old. Isabel J. Heinrich was born on May 6, 1927, in St. Louis, Michigan to the late George and Katherine (Eurich) Heinrich. She married James L. Brandel on March 15, 1951, in Angola, Indiana; he survives her. Isabel enjoyed taking trips to casinos, crocheting and playing with her kitty. Above all, she truly treasured and cherished her family. Surviving are her husband, James; three sons and a daughter: Michael Brandel of Billings, MT, Craig Brandel of Roseburg, OR, Mark (Gayle) Brandel of Reno, NV and Marilyn Brandel of Jackson, Michigan; four grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; two sisters: Doris and Annie; three sisters-in-law: Edna (Floyd) McIntyre, Joyce Danhoff, and Ethel Brandel; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son, Richard; a grandson, Michael J.; and many brothers and sisters. FUNERAL: Isabel's Funeral Service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, May 16, 2011 at the Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State). Joyce Danhoff will officiate. Entombment will follow at Chapel Hill Mausoleum. VISITATION: Friends are welcome to visit with the family at the funeral home on Monday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service.
