Obituary of Constance W. Flynn

FLYNN, Constance W. of Saginaw passed away on Sunday, May 22, 2011. She was 75 years old. Constance W. Weiland was born on May 16, 1936 in Saginaw to the late Raymond and Evelyn (Kenny) Weiland. She married R. Patrick Flynn on February 11, 1961 in Saginaw. He survives her. Constance had been employed with Bay Refining, White Pine Library and the Read Association. She was a member of St. Stephen Catholic Church. Constance loved to spend time with her family and grandchildren; she also enjoyed traveling and gardening. She is survived by her husband, Pat; two sons and a daughter: Daniel J. Flynn, Rochester Hills, MI, Kelly A. Flynn of Bethesda, MD, and Michael P. (Monica) Flynn of Cincinnati, Ohio; six grandchildren: Casey, Sean, Oliver, Audrey, Gates and Shelby; two sisters: Carol (Bud) Meier, Catherine (Bill) Loiacano; a brother-in-law, Ed (Maxine) Flynn; two sisters-in-law, Mary Jane (Al) McBain and Diane Weiland; and many nieces and nephews. Constance was preceded in death by her brother, Gerald Weiland; and a brother-in-law, Frank Flynn. Constance's family would like to extend a sincere thank you to Southern Care Hospice for the wonderful care that they provided. FUNERAL: A Memorial Mass celebrating Constance's life with be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 26, 2011 at St. Stephen Catholic Church, 1320 Malzahn St. Rev. Fr. James Gavit will officiate. VISITATION: Friends are welcome to visit with the family at the Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State) on Wednesday, May 25, 2011 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. and at the church on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass. The family will pray the Rosary on Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. MEMORIALS: In lieu of flowers those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to St. Stephen Catholic Church or the Rainbow Connection of Michigan (www.rainbowconnection.org).
