Obituary of Sharon A. Kraska

KRASKA, Sharon A. of Saginaw, Michigan, passed away on Monday, May 23, 2011 at the Cartwright Hospice Residence with her family and friends at her side. She was 58 years old. Sharon A. Ugartechea was born on November 7, 1952 in Saginaw to the late Ernest and Lucille (Wormer) Ugartechea. She married Edward W. Kraska on February 14, 1996 in Las Vegas, NV. He survives her. Sharon graduated from Saginaw High School in 1970. She had been employed by General Motors retiring after 26 years of service. She had a soft spot in her heart for animals, especially for her birds. Surviving are her husband, Edward, are a son and a daughter: Jose Nieves Enciso; Erica R. (Greg) Hatfield, all of Saginaw.; two step-children: Chris (Jamie) Kraska, of Newaygo, Stacy (Stewart) Bernhardt of Auburn: her first grandson, Kierian and 14 grandchildren; two brothers: Bill (Jeanie) Ugartechea; Jimbo Ugartechea; a sister, Linda (Peter) Kopp. Also surviving are many extended family and friends. Sharon was preceded in death by a sister, Gloria Hunt and a brother, Jimmy Ugartechea. FUNERAL: Sharon's Funeral Service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 27, 2011 at the Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State). Chaplin Elaine Raymond will officiate. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery. VISITATION: Friends are welcome to visit the Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State) on Thursday, May26, 2011 from 1:00 to 9:00 p.m. and on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
