PORLAS, Patricia of Saginaw, Michigan passed away on Tuesday, October 16, 2012 at HealthSource with her family at her side. She was 96 years old. Patricia Cotter was born March 22, 1916 to the late Aaron and Elizabeth (Bader) Cotter. She married Albert Porlas in 1940 in Saginaw. He preceded her in death on October 26, 1984.
Patricia loved and cherished her family, especially her beloved husband, "Pappy". She enjoyed sewing and working in her flower gardens. Patricia was of the Catholic faith.
Patricia leaves behind many cousins, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother, James Cotter; a sister, Fideles Hanson Oberlink; a sister-in-law, Josephine Miller; as well as many additional family members.
FUNERAL: Funeral services will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 18, 2012 at Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd (off State). Rev. Fr. David L. Parsch will officiate. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery.
VISITATION: Friends are welcome to visit at Deisler Funeral Home on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
