Obituary of Ortelle B. Napierala

NAPIERALA, Ortelle B. of Saginaw, MI passed away on Monday, October 15, 2012 at Covenant HealthCare - Cooper. She was 97 years old. Ortelle B. Coty was born on October 5, 1915 in Midland County to the late George and Mary (Archambault) Coty. Ortelle married Frank Napierala on January 14, 1939, who preceded her in death. Ortelle was a faithful member of St. Helen Catholic Church, the World Apostolate of Our Lady of Fatima and the Confraternity of the Most Holy Rosary. She is survived by two sons and a daughter: Ronald of Helena, MT, Kenneth of Saginaw, MI, Elaine (Thomas) Newton of St. Joseph, MN; 10 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; a sister, Grace Hamling of Saginaw, MI; and many nieces and nephews. Ortelle was preceded in death by a daughter and son-in-law, Maureen and Raymond Brown; five brothers and four sisters. FUNERAL: A funeral liturgy for Ortelle will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, October 19, 2012 at St. Helen Catholic Church, 2445 N. Charles St., Saginaw. Rev. Fr. Ronald Wagner will officiate with burial to follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. VISITATION: Friends are welcome to visit with the family at the Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State) on Thursday, October 18, 2012 from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. A Vigil service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home. Ortelle will lie in state at the church on Friday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service.
