I worked with Doris and Sharen for years with Investech. Sharen would pick on me and we had a lot of fun together. Myself and my staff will greatly miss her. Great worker and made the Job fun. God's peace

From the moment Chad brought me home to meet his parents, Mom radiated her warmth and love upon me. I had been nervous to meet the parents of the man I loved so deeply. I was scared of having the stereotypical mother-in-law/daughter-in-law relationship. But after one foot through the door, I knew in my heart that God had gifted me with a second mother. I found myself coming back on my own even without Chad to spend time with her, Dad, & Logan because I knew in my heart they were part of my family. Sharen was a master in the advice department. Her knowledge, willingness to research and understand have been invaluable to me as a mother. She never offered her advice unsolicited, but she could have because the woman gave good advice. One of my favorite memories of this is when Chad gave me a promise ring after only knowing each other for 4 months. Understandably, Sharen & Steve wanted to chat with us about marriage life and real world responsibilities… Sharen told us all about building a "foundation" complete with hand gestures that we teased her about relentlessly every time we visited. That was one of mom's many gifts, the ability to laugh and laugh at herself. She was in her element the most as a mother and grandmother. I never had to beg my children to visit Grammy's house. In fact, living far away for most of our marriage, the children begged nonstop to visit. Every time we burst through the door, we made beautiful wonderful memories. She got down in the dirt with her grandkids and played right along with them. She made the most of our whirlwind visits and those memories she gifted us with will live on in our hearts and will aid in being a healing balm to our broken hearts. So many people I've spoken with talked about her quick wit and her laugh. I think I will miss those the most. Her heart was big and pure and her love was unconditional. She was easy to be with. She expected nothing and gave everything. I am going to miss our mother daughter talks… The way she helped coach me through parenting struggles… I'm going to miss waking up to find her at the kitchen counter with a cup of coffee and a smile. Mom was an absolute gift to this world. I take comfort in knowing that she is probably watching all this unfold and telling God how miffed she is by some of the pictures we chose for the boards. Mom, you will be missed deeply, thought of often and fondly, and will live on in the beautiful family you created.

Our beautiful and beloved sister-in-law has departed us far too soon. A beautiful smile, a quick wit, and a laugh that would light up a room. A kind and beautiful soul will be forever missed. A void will remain in our hearts forever. Until we meet again, God speed. Scott and Dawn

I have no words to express how sorry I am to hear of Sharon's passing. As neighbors and friends, we got to hang out a lot through our school years. Sharen was ready to have fun no matter what we were doing. She laughed easily and cared deeply. My prayers are with you all. May God give you his perfect Peace today and always. Love to you, Eileen Larkin
