Obituary of Susanne Marie Mackley

Mackley, Susanne Marie Indian River, Michigan Formerly of Saginaw, Michigan Loving wife and mother, and sister passed away with her husband by her side on Wednesday, March 3, 2021 at her residence, she was 66 years old. Susanne Marie Bunchek was born December 18, 1954 in Saginaw, Michigan to the late Alphonse and Lucy (Ferrelli) Bunchek. She married Mark Mackley on December 30, 1972 in Saginaw, Michigan. She was employed as a receptionist, retiring in 2015. Susanne was a member of Holy Spirit in Saginaw for many years before moving to Indian River. She loved the outdoors and enjoyed many different sports. Susanne also enjoyed boating. But, what she really loved most was spending time with her family. Surviving are her husband, Mark Mackley; children, Peter J. Mackley and Cara Mackley; siblings, Lawrence Bunchek and Robert (Lynn) Bunchek; special nieces, Barb Cesaro and Debbie Mackley, and many nieces and nephews. Susanne was preceded in death by her sister, Diane (Harold) Kline; nephew, Jimmy Kline. FUNERAL SERVICE: A Funeral Service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 8, 2021 at Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Road (off State). Rev. Fr. Peter J. Gaspeny will officiate. Rite of Committal to follow at St. Andrew Cemetery. VISITATION: Family and friends will gather at the Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State) on Sunday, March 8, 2021 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Visitation will continue at the funeral home on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. In keeping with mandated ordinances and for the safety of the community, face masks are required, social distancing, and gathering guidelines will be observed.
