Jean, my thoughts are with you. So very sorry to hear about Dick. Every time I would see him at the Inn, he always made a point to say hi tome at HIS seat at the end of the bar. Prayers are with you.

My condolences to Richard's family.
Although I spent 6 years in the same junior high and high school with Dick, I really didn't get to know him until my twenties. For about 7-8 years we played golf nearly every weekend with two other friends, and had a blast. It was something I really looked forward to every week. After moving away from Saginaw in 1985, I only saw Dick a few times and didn't know he had remarried.
You left us too early. Rest in peace, my friend.

Made so many memories with Richard. He was my friend, someone I could always depend upon. With his passing a piece of myself has gone with him. He will never be forgotten and will be in my heart for as long as it beats. Kaye Schultz

Dick will be sorely missed by all of his Scottish Inn family. Actually, the Scottish Inn has lost a piece of its foundation. A true "constant" in all of our lives. A true gentleman that had knowledge on many subjects. You could also depend on him for a quick chat or sometimes a long chat. He was a legend. May peace be with you Dick.

I had the pleasure of working with Dick over 40 years ago at Lorillard when I was both fresh out of college as well as coping with my father's terminal illness and death. I have remembered the support and kindness he extended during those difficult days throughout my life. He was a wonderful person who left a lasting impression on me. When returning to Saginaw and passing the Scottish Inn, I always thought of Dick! I'm sad to learn of his passing. My condolences to your entire family.
