Obituary of Julie Ann Spurr

Spurr, Julie Ann, beloved mother, daughter, sister and friend passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, February 23, 2021 in Midland, Michigan at the age of 54. Julie was born on December 12, 1966 in Saline, Michigan the daughter of Kenneth and Verna (Tarvis) Spurr. She was a 1985 graduate of Milan High School and then went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Central Michigan University. Julie enjoyed golfing and loved spending time at the family cottage on Blue Lake in Fountain, Michigan. But most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Julie is survived by her three children; Joel and Abby Ziegelmann both of Saginaw and Ryan Ziegelmann of Grandville, mother; Verna Spurr of Midland, sister; Suzanne and husband Paul Pomnichowski of Traverse City, brother; Stephen Spurr of Traverse City and two nephews. In keeping with Julie's wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family service is being planned this spring or summer.
