Obituary of John Wesley Sharar

John W. Sharar, Jr. passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side at the age of 79. John was born May 20, 1941 in Saginaw, Michigan the son of the late John and Dorothy (Duby) Sharar Sr. He graduated in 1959 from Arthur Hill High School. John was united in marriage to the former Kathleen Meyers on March of 1964 in Frankenmuth, MI. He retired after 34 years at Eaton Corporation. John was a longtime member of the Moose Lodge 82 of Saginaw, MI. John is survived by his wife of 56 years; Kathy, three children; Tracy (Joey) Kendall, Timothy and Todd Sharar, three grandchildren; Wesley and Mason Weisenberger and Jayden Sharar, siblings; Jeanine Hutchinson, Jerry Sharar, Joanne (Dean) Zimmerman, Joyce Coe and James (Betty) Sharar and friend of the family; Richard Weisenberger. In keeping with John's wishes cremation has taken place and the family is planning a private service. Those wanting to do a memorial contribution are asked to consider the "Wishes of the Sharar Family". Deisler Funeral Home is honored to serve the Sharar family.
