GROVER, Marie E. Saginaw, Michigan Passed away peacefully on Friday, December 18, 2020 at her daughter's home in Oxford, Michigan. She was 92 years old. Marie Elizabeth Kassin was born on February 24, 1928 in Saginaw to the late Lee and Elizabeth (Mikula) Kassin. She was married to Hugh G. Grover on June 30, 1956 in Angola, Indiana; he preceded her in death on June 20, 2012. Marie was a giving person who always thought about her family and friends first. She loved gardening, baking, sewing, watching basketball and most of all spending time with her family. She worked at J.C. Penney for over 15 years and retired in 1990. She kept the things she loved dearly close to her heart and she lived her life on her terms until the very end. Surviving are her two daughters: Renee (Michael) Popovich, Diane (Rex) Struble; a daughter-in-law, Paola Grover; seven grandchildren: Lauren (Popovich) Masterson, Christopher Struble, Adam Struble, Ashley Popovich, Kristen Popovich, Matthew Grover, and Valerie Grover. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hugh G. Grover; a son, Richard Hugh Grover; a sister, Lydia Brown, and a brother, Russell Kassin. SERVICE: A private memorial service will be held at Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State). Rev. Ted McCulloch will officiate. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
