Obituary of Shirley A. McIntyre

Shirley McIntyre, 97 years old, passed away peacefully December 03, 2020 surrounded by family and was welcomed into heaven by her husband Kenneth and daughter Melissa with her dancing shoes on. Shirley was born on July 11, 1923 in Miami, Florida the daughter of Herbert and Rozella (Clinton) Neilson. She was united in marriage to Kenneth on August 9, 1952 in Saginaw, MI. Shirley enjoyed volunteering especially with EMMAUS House and the Strawberry Festival. She enjoyed dancing, dogs and was an avid reader. But most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family and her bff, also known as her granddaughter Haley. Shirley has left many loved ones behind who will miss her terribly, her daughter Tracy McIntyre of Farmville, Virginia, her daughter Kimberly McIntyre Barrett and son in-law Mark Barrett of Metamora, MI and five incredible grandchildren who were her pride and joy. Chelsea Gregory, Alexander Ross, Haley Barrett, Riley (Michelle) Barrett and Caleb Barrett. Along with many nieces, nephews and extended family. FUNERAL: Private entombment will take place in Oakwood Mausoleum, Monday, December 7, 2020. MEMORIALS: In Lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in her name to Seasons Hospice, 27355 John R.
