Obituary of Frank J. Smekar & Stefan J. Smekar

Smekar, Frank J., Jr. and Stefan J. Smekar, sons of Frank and Margaret Smekar were buried together at St. Andrew Cemetery in Saginaw. Rev. Fr. William J. Rutkowski prayed the burial rites at a private graveside service. Stefan, the youngest son, was moved from the Infant Section of St. Andrew Cemetery to be buried with the cremated remains of his older brother, Frank, who died unexpectedly while living in Hollywood, Florida. The brothers are survived by their parents, Frank and Margaret (Solinski) Smekar Sr.; sister, Elizabeth Snowbarger, of Bay City, MI, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. They were preceded in death by their grandparents, Frank and Tess Smekar of Saginaw, MI, and Ed and Adrienne Solinski of Bay City, MI. Frank, Jr. was a Senior Finance Manager for United Health Group of California before becoming a Financial Billing Manager for Solstice Health Systems in Hollywood, FL.
