Obituary of Richard Pratt

Pratt, Richard "Dick" Bridgeport, Michigan Our loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 22, 2020 at HealthSource-Saginaw. He was 84 years old. Richard Ray Pratt was born on October 9, 1935 in Saginaw to the late Ray F. and Alice I. (Ball) Pratt. Dick proudly served his country with the United States Army. Following his return to Saginaw, Dick started working with General Motors in skilled trades and retired after 46 years of service. He loved to hunt and fish, and spending time with his family and dogs. Dick was skilled with his hands and could often be found fixing or building any project placed before him. He will be deeply missed by his loving wife, Rosetta; children: Richard "Rick" (Jackie) Pratt, Jr., Deborah Pratt, Steven (Sheila) Pratt, Dennis Pratt, Jeffrey (Shirley) Pratt, Angela Pratt and Tonia (Christopher) McCormick; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren; siblings: Ken, Gary, Ray, Gail, Diane and Dawn, brothers-in-law, Palmer Short, David Short, Boyd Short and Emil Short; sisters-in-law: Gracie Pouget and Nancy Craft; dear friend, Billie Udell; many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Dick was preceded in death by his parents, and step-son, Patrick Scott. According to Dick's wishes cremation has taken place and there are no services planned at this time.
