Obituary of Margaret Anna Fish

Fish, Margaret Anna of Saginaw passed away early Saturday morning, August 1, 2020. She was 97 years old. Margaret was born on February 3, 1923 in Ecorse, Michigan, the daughter of the late William and Mary (Drotar) Orosz. Margaret was united in marriage to Thomas G. Fish in 1948; he predeceased her in death in 1979. Margaret worked at Lufkin Rule for 18 years. She was an avid bowler and also enjoyed fishing, bingo, and playing cards. She was president of the Saginaw Township Senior Citizens Association for several years. Margaret especially loved spending time with her family. Margaret was predeceased by her oldest daughter Kathy Sherwood; and she is survived by her three other children: Nancy Sanderson, Tom Fish and Tim Fish; seven grandchildren: Joel (Nikie), Brock (Naomi), Sara (Harold), Bub, Nicole (Jason), Seth and Jacy; nine great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild, and several nieces and nephews. Margaret is also preceded in death by three siblings; Johnny, Bill and Eleanor. FUNERAL: A funeral Liturgy will take place Wednesday, August 5, 2020 at 11:00 AM from Christ the Good Shepherd (St. Helen Site), 2445 N. Charles St. Saginaw, MI 48602. Rev. Fr. William Rutkowski will officiate. Interment to follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery. VISITATION: Family and friends are welcome to gather at Christ the Good Shepherd Church from 10:00 am until the time of service.
