Obituary of Kathleen M. North

North, Kathleen M. Saginaw, Michigan Our mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and sister passed away on Wednesday, July 15, 2020 at Ascension St. Mary's Hospital in Saginaw. She was 73 years old. Kathleen Mary Gross was born April 19, 1947 in Saginaw, Michigan to the late Christopher and Evelyn (Potier) Gross. She married Larry North on November 6, 1965 in Saginaw. He preceded her in death on April 2, 2001. Kathleen was employed by Covenant Healthcare at their Childcare Center, retiring after several years. Kathleen loved her birds and her dogs. She also enjoyed gardening. But, what Kathleen really loved most, was spending time with her family. Surviving are her children, Wendy (Tim) Garinger, Michelle (Jeffrey Rose) Thompson, and Michael (Tobey) North; grandchildren, Katie, Aaron, Jacob, Joshua (Haley), Logan, Travis, Morgan, Justin (Alyssa), and Kylie; great-grandchildren, Brooklyn, Aubrei, Alexus, Ryland, Brayden, and Hannah Grace; sisters, Linda (Bob) Wright and Laurie (Dave) Kelso; several brothers and sisters in-law, many nieces and nephews and her best friend in the whole world, Don Jackson. Kathleen was preceded in death by her granddaughters, Brittany and Hannah; great-grandson, Jordan; brother, Dale Gross; sister, Suzanne Wenzel. FUNERAL SERVICE: A Private Funeral Service will take place on Monday, July 20, 2020 at Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State). Rev. Paul Hinz will officiate.
