Obituary of Ronald Alan Sharrer

Please share a memory of Ronald to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Ronald "Ron" Alan Sharrer was born April 2, 1950 to Robert R. Sharrer and Betty Formaz Sharrer in Detroit, Michigan. He graduated from Douglas MacArthur High School in Saginaw and studied to become an electrical contractor. In addition to Michigan, he worked and lived in Austin, Texas, and Whitefish, Montana before moving to Escondido, California. On June 8, 2020 Ron moved from Escondido to Heaven, where he joined his dear sister, Nadene Sharrer Kwaiser, who died in 1985, and his beloved dad, Bob, who died in 2012. All three of them had a passion and talent for music of every kind, from the 1812 Overture to Beethoven, Pat Boone, Burl Ive, country, and current favorites. But most of all they loved the great "Praise to Jesus" classics. So now their lovely voices are raised together, how amazing that must sound in Heaven. Ron openly admitted and voiced regret for many errors he had made, and as a result, was eager to share the love and forgiveness of Jesus with co-workers, neighbors, family, friends, and his celebrity clients and customers all over Michigan, California, and Arizona. He found great joy in donating his time and skills to Christian churches, schools, and ministries, both in small towns and large cities. It will always bring smiles to our faces when we remember his silly, off the wall, sense of humor. Ron's beloved mother, Betty Sharrer, lives in Saginaw, Michigan, his sister, Linda Sharrer Hall lives in Escondido, California, as does Jennifer Smith Sharrer, who Ron married in 2001. Ron also leaves behind his "favorite" niece and nephew, Christine (Jeff) Haner and Daniel (Janet) Kwaiser of Saginaw, many great nieces, nephews, cousins, and a zillion other close, loving friends and family in Michigan and California. MEMORIAL SERVICE: A celebration of Ron's life will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 27, 2020 at Grace Baptist Church,4619 Mackinaw Rd (North of Shattuck).
