Barb was a best friend to my Mother Susan Moon. My Mom talked so highly of Barb. They worked together for many years. Barb would come to visit my Mom and they would sit outside for hours. I am grateful my Mom had such a true, wonderful friend. Angels in heaven.

I worked with Barb at St. Vincent's Boysville and she taught me a lot how to deal with troubled kids. She was a true caring person and she had a positive impact on my life. She was always a true professional and I will never forget her and how she helped me when I had no clue how to deal with at- risk kids. R I p Barb..

When Barb and I started working together as a social worker/nurse team at A&D, I had no idea what a great friend she would become. Every trip to a nursing facility, patient's home or meeting with family turned into an adventure. We had fun with work, and when she retired, we continued with Panda House lunches and shared stories of our new adventures. She loved telling me about her family and listening to stories about mine.
I will cherish the memories of those times. Barb, you will be dearly missed.

Barb was a good friend to my husband Jim Minder and me back in the early days at Holland House. She was instrumental in getting the Boysville community services program off the ground, and she always had a smile for everyone. My condolences to all of you in her family.

I was in the process of trying to reach out to my dear friend Barb, and unfortunately read your obituary. One of my best friends, since 1980. You always made everyone feel so humane, as you would gracefully, and verbally directly showed others "the better way to cope with any situation". You always were ; dressed to kill for, bragging about your family, working at least 2-3 jobs, thinking about how to show your live to your loved ones ,laughing as we watched other people as well as ourselves,.... My late condolences go out to her children, as well as her grand and great grandchildren. You make a beautiful angel in heaven. We'll see you in the spiritual world. You'll be greatly missed my friend. Sadly Submitted, Colleen Russo, ACC, MSW
