Obituary of Geraldine Marie Roth

Roth, Geraldine Marie of Saginaw, Michigan, passed away on the morning of April 7, 2020 at Wellspring Lutheran Services. She was 92 years old. Geraldine was born June 19, 1927, in Saginaw, Michigan, to Arthur R. Riselay and Marie F. Pawlowski. She attended Arthur Hill High School and later at attended many classes at Delta College. Geraldine married Raymond Roth in 1948. He preceded her in death in 1990. After Raymond's death, she married Alton (Tony) Roth of Saginaw and Harrison. He preceded her in death on July 11, 2014. She acquired a real estate license and assisted her father in his real estate business. She was also employed by various Saginaw law firms, Heathsource, and Westlund Child Guidance Clinic in Saginaw. Geraldine enjoyed her family, friends, and her church. She was an artist and painted many pictures that were donated for charity. Geraldine also in her later years made many beautiful banners for her favorite churches. She also enjoyed writing poetry and non-fiction stories, which she distributed to her friends. She leaves two daughters, Christine (Michael) Rausch and Louise Roby; grandchildren, Bradley Rausch, Matthew Rausch, and Alicia Roby; she also leave behind her great-grandchildren, Nadia Rausch, Grant Rausch, Elizabeth Rausch, Erin Peters, and Samantha Leffler. FUNERAL: A private graveside service for Geraldine will be held on Friday, April 10, 2020 at St. Andrew Cemetery. Rev. Dr. Mark Hill will officiate. In accordance with State mandated ordinances the limitations of the number gathered and safe distancing will be observed.
