Obituary of Charles J. Chadwick

Passed away Monday, January 13, 2020 at Covenant Heathcare in Saginaw at the age of 87. Charles was born June 8, 1932 in Saginaw, Michigan the son of Charles V. and Sophie (Wenzel) Chadwick. He was united in marriage to the former Sally Johnson on June 18, 1955; she preceded Charles in death on January 26, 2012. Charles loved being outdoors; whether it was working in his yard, fishing or camping. But more than anything he loved spending time with his family. He will be missed dearly. Left to cherish his memory are his daughters, Susan Chadwick and Karen (Albert) Gallup; three grandchildren, Heather (Pierre) Conaway, Nathan (Christa) Ross and Josh (Kacia) Ross; 11 great-grandchildren; two sisters in-law, Joyce and Julie Chadwick and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents and wife Sally, Charles was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister. In keeping with Charles's wishes cremation has taken place and a private inurnment is being planned by his family. For those planning a memorial contribution are asked to consider the Eastside Soup Kitchen, City Rescue Mission of Saginaw or Salvation Army.
