Obituary of Michael A. Messer

Messer, Michael A. of Bay City, Michigan. Passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, December 3, 2019 at McLaren Bay Region. He was 69 years old. Michael was born June 2, 1950 in Decatur, Illinois to the late William and Donna Messer. Michael attended the University of Kansas, earning a bachelor degree in business. He was employed by Peerless Steel working in outside sales, retiring after 40 years of service. He loved golfing and playing cards. Michael was the life of the party and enjoyed any social occasion. He also loved his corvette and different car activities. But, what he really loved most was spending time with his family, friends, and his cats. Surviving are his son, Alexander Messer; siblings, Rebecca Messer, William (Lisa) Messer, and dear friend Amy Messer. FUNERAL SERVICE: A Funeral Service will take place at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, December 7, 2019 at Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State), Saginaw, Michigan 48603. Pastor Emily Olsen will officiate. VISITATION: Family and friends will gather at Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State) on Saturday, December 7, 2019 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.
