Obituary of Marilyn Jane Princinsky

Princinsky, Marilyn Jane "Twinkie" of Saginaw, Michigan. Passed away on Tuesday, September 3, 2019 at Edgewood Assisted Living. She was 89 years old. Marilyn Wyman was born June 10, 1930 in Livermore Falls, Maine to the late Percy and Ellen (Reynolds) Wyman. Marilyn served in the Ground Observer Corps Aircraft Warning Service for the United States Air Force in Maine during WWII. She married Arthur J. Princinsky on July 25, 1959 At Saint Michaels Catholic Church in Flint, Michigan. He preceded her in death on February 13, 2008. Marilyn attended Mott Foundation Adult Education after graduating from Livermore Falls High School in 1948. She was employed by Cicinelli, Mossner, Majoros & Alexander as a bookkeeper, retiring in 1991. Marilyn was a faithful and active member of St. Dominic Parish (S.S. Peter & Paul Catholic Church), The League of Catholic Women, The Legion of Mary, and the Moose Lodge for many years. She ministered to the sick and homebound for several years serving as a Eucharistic Minister. She loved playing euchre, bingo, and going to the casino. Marilyn also enjoyed spending time near the water where it reminded her of growing up in Boothbay Harbor, Maine. What she really loved most was spending time with her family and hosting an annual Easter egg hunt for all of her grandchildren. Surviving are her children, Jim (Norma) Princinsky, Mike (Debbie Pratt) Princinsky, Ann Marie (Vance) Bartell, Barbara (Robert) Jones, Diane (Thomas) Krajkowski, and John (Lisa) Princinsky; grandchildren, Ryan, Jeff, Hannah, Angela, Brody, Emmalee, Corey, Arthur, Casey, Michael, Zachary, Julee, Bradley, Claire, J.J., Jessica, and Justin; 15 great-grandchildren and a half-sister, Millie. Marilyn was preceded in death by her daughter, Ellen Jean Princinsky and a special uncle Dr. James Reynolds. The family would like to extend a special thank you to The Caring Team (Hospice) and all the staff at Edgewood Assisted Living. FUNERAL SERVICE: A Funeral Liturgy will take place at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, September 7, 2019 at St. Dominic Parish, S.S. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, 4735 W. Michigan Avenue, Saginaw, Michigan 48638. Rev. Fr. Steve Gavit will officiate. Rite of Committal will follow at St. Andrew Cemetery. VISITATION: Family and friends will gather at the Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State) on Friday, September 6, 2019 from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. The family will pray the rosary at 6:30 p.m. A vigil service will be held on Friday at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Visitation will continue at the church on Saturday from 10:30 a.m. until the time of service.
