Obituary of Kathryn O. Lynch

LYNCH, Kathryn O., of Saginaw, Michigan. Beloved wife, mother, grandmother and sister passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 31, 2012 at her home, surrounded by her family. She was 77 years of age. Kathryn O. Campau was born on December 31. 1934, in Bay City, Michigan to the late Victor and Margaret Campau. She married Hubert Lynch on November 24, 1956 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Bay City. He survives her. Kay was a Registered Nurse and was employed by St. Mary's Hospital and Saginaw Cooperative Hospitals, Inc. until her retirement in 1996. Kay was a devoted nurse for over 40 years, she volunteered her time for school physicals and at St. Francis Nursing Home. She was a member of St. John Vianney Catholic Church. Kay was also a avid Detroit Tiger baseball fan. Surviving besides her husband, Hub; four children Barbara (Doug) Morin of Bay City, Kathy (Ben) Escamilla of Bay City, Michael Lynch of Gainesville. FL, and Susan (Dan) Kalahar of Saginaw; nine grandchildren; Kathryn Lynch Morin, Molly Kalahar, Michael, Thomas, Megan, Ann and Marie Escamilla, Sara and Sean Lynch. Kay is also survived by a sister and two brothers; Ellen (Jerry) Malone, Victor (Janene) Campau and John (Shirley) Campau. She was preceded in death by two brothers and their spouses; Pete (Audrey) Campau and Pat (Bernice) Campau. FUNERAL - Kathryn's Funeral Liturgy will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 2, 2012 at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 6400 McCarty Rd. Rev. Fr. James R. Carlson will officiate. Right of Committal will follow in St. Andrew Cemetery. VISITATION - Friends are welcome to visit with Kay's family at the Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State) on Wednesday, August 1, 2012 from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. A Vigil Service honoring Kay will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday evening at 7:00 p.m. Friends may also call at the church on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass.
