DEVENDORF, Doris J. of Saginaw, Michigan passed away on Friday, June 17, 2011 at Niche Aging and Adult Daycare. She was 98 years old. Doris J. Donohue was born on September 23, 1912 in Kingston -on-Thames, England to the late William and Julia Donohue. She married Curtis L. Devendorf on June 9, 1943 in London, England. He preceded her in death on May 17, 1992.
Surviving are a daughter and son: Teri (James) Colpean of Saginaw, Curt (Cynthia) Devendorf of Bay City; grandchildren: Patrick Rogers of Texas, Eric Devendorf of Bay City, Jillian Devendorf of Bay City, Anna Devendorf of Bay City, and Janice and Karen Self of England; numerous great grandchildren and a brother, Brian Self of England
VISITATION: Friends are welcome to visit with Doris' family on Monday, June 20, 2011 at the Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State) from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. with a prayer service taking place at 7:00 p.m. led by Rev. Kenneth R. Parker. Private entombment will take place at Oakwood Mausoleum.
