BORN, Marie M. of Saginaw, Michigan, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 25, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. with her daughter Jacalyn Marie at her bedside holding her hands and humming Marie's favorite hymn "Amazing Grace". She was 85 years old. Marie M. Arch was born on December 21, 1925 in Saginaw, Michigan to the late Frank and Lola (Kiff) Arch. She married Douglass R. Born on May 10, 1948; he preceded her in death on May 20, 1968.
Surviving are two daughters: Sandra Born, Jacalyn (Roy) Born-Fisher; a son, Douglas Born; a grandson, Joshua Krzywosinski; and a sister Beatrice Hartman.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Barbara K. Born Krzywosinski on March 27, 2005.
FUNERAL- A Memorial Service honoring Marie will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 30, 2011 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 6100 Westside Saginaw Rd., Bay City. Pastor Paul Theiss will officiate.
Following Marie's wishes cremation has taken place. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State).
