Obituary of Janet Harden

HARDEN, Janet of Saginaw Twp. Our loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother passed away on Saturday, November 26, 2011 at Cartwright Hospice Residence after a long battle with cancer. She was 79 years old. Janet Wressell was born on September 30, 1932 to the late Evelyn and Alfred Wressell. She married Patrick J. Harden Sr. on May 14, 1953 in Warrenton, VA. He preceded her in death on February 19, 1996. Janet was a member of St. John Vianney Catholic Church. She greatly enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Janet leaves behind to cherish her memory, her four children: Patrick (Carole) Harden of Traverse City, Lori Harden of Saginaw, Kevin (Janna) Harden of Mt. Morris, and Brian Harden of Saginaw; 13 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; her lifelong friend, Marlene Riedel; brother, James (Val) Wressell; and a sister, June (Harold) Keene. Janet was preceded in death by her husband; a son, Raymond Harden; daughter-in-law, Stacy Harden; two sisters and four brothers. FUNERAL: Janet's funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 3, 2011 at the Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd., (off State) Rev. Fr. James R. Carlson will officiate with burial to follow in St. Andrew Cemetery. VISITATION: Friends are welcome to visit with the family at the funeral home on Saturday, December 3, 2011 from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service.
