Obituary of James E. Binge

Binge, James Ernest Dewitt, Michigan formerly of Saginaw James Earnest Binge, Age 93, passed away peacefully on June 30, 2019. He was born April 7, 1926 in Mount Clements, Michigan to the late Gertrude (Beauvais) and Ernest Binge and resided in Saginaw for over 50 years. Jim proudly served his country during the Korean War in Germany with the United States Army. He worked as a manager for Kroger through-out the Tri-City area for over 40 years. Jim loved square dancing with Mary Louise as members of the Paws and Taws Dance Club for 20 years. Jim is survived by his wife, Mary Louise (Duby) Binge; son, Mark (Patricia) Binge of DeWitt, MI, and grandchildren, Kelsey, Morgan and Brendan. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Roy Binge. FUNERAL: A funeral liturgy for Jim will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 6, 2019 at Christ the Good Shepherd Parish - St. Helen Catholic Church, 2445 N. Charles St., Saginaw MI 48602. Rev. Fr. Ronald Wagner will officiate. Entombment and Military honors under the auspices of the United States Army and American Legion Post #22 will take place at St. Andrew Mausoleum. VISITATION: Family and friends will gather at the Deisler Funeral Home 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State) on Friday, July 5, 2019 from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Jim will lie in state at the church on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of Mass.
