Obituary of Richard R. Rusch

RUSCH, Richard R. of Saginaw Michigan, passed away on Thursday, January 5, 2012 at HealthSource of Saginaw with his beloved brother and best friend at his side. He was 61 years old. Richard Ronald Rusch was born on September 27, 1950 to the late Reuben and Betty June (Bennett) Rusch. He graduated from Douglas MacArthur High School and later attended Delta College. Richard was a long time member of the Saginaw Field and Stream Conservation Club. He enjoyed reading, games, and spending time at home watching movies. Left to cherish Richard's memory is his brother, Roger (Patricia) Rusch; his stepsister, Margaret (Bill) Spangler; his niece, Andrea Rusch; his niece and godchild, Bethany Rusch; his niece, Carrie Rusch; his godchild, Sandy Nurnberg Marino; and his special friend, May Lohrey. He was preceded in death by one niece, Trisha Jo Rusch. FUNERAL: Funeral services will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 9, 2012 at Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State St.). Rev. Paul R. Hinz will officiate with burial in Oakwood Cemetery. VISITATION: Friends are welcome to visit at Deisler Funeral Home on Sunday, January 8, 2012 from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. MEMORIALS: In lieu of flowers those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to Saginaw County Animal Shelter, the American Diabetes Association, the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society.
