MEYERS, Jerry of Saginaw Township passed away peacefully on Monday, January 23, 2012 surrounded by his family at Covenant HealthCare - Cooper. He was 68 years old. Jerry was the loving husband of Susan for28 years and cherished father of Bryan, Daniel (Barb), Jason, Ashley and Stephen and his loyal pet, Payci. He was born on January 24, 1943 to the late Howard and Irma (Fleming) Meyers. Jerry was predeceased by an infant brother, Tommy. Left behind to cherish Jerry's memory besides his wife and children are two brothers: Dave (Sharon) Meyers of Saginaw and Michael (Jodi) Meyers of Kalamazoo; one sister: Kathleen Meyers of Phoenix Arizona; and many wonderful lifelong friends from his CMW family. He is also survived by four sisters-in-law: Cheryl Klonoski, Paula Opperman, Cindy Sebek and Lisa Rapin and their families; and his father-in-law, Donald L. (Janet) Gallant. His sense of humor will be missed by all. Jerry owned and operated CMW Real Estate from 1975 through 2007. He was past president of Saginaw Board of Realtors and a member of the National Association of Realtors since 1969. He was a lifelong member of St. Stephen Parish. Jerry was an avid golfer and enjoyed sharing 18 holes with his longtime friend, the late Joe Rombach, his brother Dave, and his sons. FUNERAL: A Funeral Liturgy honoring Jerry will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 27, 2012 at St. Stephen Catholic Church, 1320 Malzahn St., Saginaw. Rev. Fr. Robert DeLand will officiate with entombment to follow at St. Andrew Mausoleum. VISITATION: Friends are welcome to visit with the family at St. Stephen Catholic Church on Thursday, January 26, 2012 from 2:00 until 8:00 p.m.; and on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral Mass. A vigil service will be held at St. Stephen on Thursday at 7:00 p.m. MEMORIALS: In lieu of flowers please consider a donation towards a scholarship through Saginaw Area Catholic Schools furthering Jerry's passion for the continued spiritual education of our children or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
