Obituary of Bette M. Ulrich

ULRICH, Bette M. (81) of Bay City, passed away on Saturday, February 4, 2012. She was born on November 9, 1930. Bette married Charles L. Ulrich on April 16, 1955; he preceded her in death on January 7, 2012. Surviving are her children: John (Louise) Ulrich and Shawna (Dave) Makielski; two grandchildren: Ian and Alex Wilkinson; a brother, William Shaw, Jr.; a sister-in-law, Paula (Cal) Long; and a special family friend, Doug Lagalo. Also surviving are many cousins, nephews, nieces and wonderful friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Ulrich; parents: Helen and William Shaw; a daughter, Kay Ulrich; and her in-laws: Paul and Catherine Ulrich. FUNERAL: A Funeral Liturgy will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 8, 2012, at St. Stanislaus Kostka Catholic Church, 1503 Kosciuszko Ave., Bay City. Rev. Fr. Rick Filary will officiate. Private burial will take place in St. Andrew Cemetery. VISITATION: Friends are welcome to visit with Bette's family on Tuesday, February 7, 2012 at the Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State) from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. and at the church on Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the Mass.
